Talking about the maintenance details of the hot runner mold

Today, I will talk about the maintenance of the convex and concave molds in the hot runner mold; the maintenance of the discharge plate; the inspection of the guiding parts; and the maintenance of the four aspects of the adjustment of the mold clearance.


1. Maintenance of convex and concave molds


When disassembling the convex and concave molds, pay attention to the original condition of the mold, so that it can be easily restored during subsequent mold loading. If there is padding or displacement, the thickness of the gasket should be engraved on the parts and recorded. To replace the punch, try to insert the unloading block, whether the die is smooth, and whether the gap between the test insert and the die is uniform. If the die is replaced, the gap between the test insert and the punch should be uniform. For the punch to be shortened after grinding the punch, it is necessary to add the gasket to the required length. It is necessary to check whether the effective length of the punch is sufficient. Replace the broken punch to find out the cause, and check whether the corresponding die has chipping and whether it needs to be ground. To assemble the punch, check whether there is enough clearance between the punch and the fixed block or the fixed plate. Check whether there is a moving allowance for the pressed block. The assembly die should be placed horizontally, and then placed with a flat iron block, such as a copper rod, to tap it in place, not to be tilted strongly, and the bottom of the die should be chamfered. After installation, check that the concave surface is level with the mold surface. After the punch die and the core are assembled, it is necessary to check the tape for necessary inspection. Whether the parts are misplaced or reversed, check whether the die and the die pad are reversed, whether the blank hole is blocked, and whether the new part needs to be replaced. If you steal the material, you need to steal the material. The mold needs to be locked. Pay attention to the locking of the stripper screw. When locking, it should be locked from the inside to the outside. The balance should be cross-locked. Do not lock one screw first and then lock the other screw to avoid the tilt of the stripper and the punch is broken. The mold accuracy is reduced.


2. Maintenance of the unloading plate


The disassembly of the unloading plate can be first balanced with two screwdrivers and then balanced with both hands to remove the force. In case of difficulty in disassembly, it should be checked whether the mold is cleaned, whether the locking screws are completely disassembled, whether the mold damage should be caused by the jamming, and the cause should be determined accordingly, and must not be disposed of blindly. When assembling the unloading plate, clean the punch and the unloading plate first, add the lubricating oil at the introduction of the guide post and the punch, place it smoothly, and then press it in place with both hands and repeat it several times. If it is too tight, the cause should be ascertained (whether the guiding column and the guiding sleeve are normal, whether there is any damage in each part, whether the new convex die can smoothly pass the position of the discharging plate is correct), and the cause is determined accordingly. The fixing plate has a pressing block. Check if the stealing material on the unloading back plate is enough. The material contact surface between the discharge plate and the die is indented for a long time (the gap between the discharge plate and the die is generally 0.03 to 0.05 mm), and when the indentation is severe, the pressing of the material is affected. Accuracy, resulting in abnormal product size, instability, etc., need to repair or re-grind the unloading insert and the unloading plate. The contour sleeve should be checked for accuracy, and it will cause the unloading plate to tilt when it is not equal. The guiding and smooth spring-loading function will be destroyed and must be maintained.


3. Guided part inspection


Whether the guide post and the guide sleeve fit the gap, whether there is burn or wear marks, and whether the mold-oriented oil supply state is normal, it should be checked. The wear and precision of the guides reduce the accuracy of the mold, and problems occur in various parts of the mold, so proper maintenance and regular replacement are required. Check the accuracy of the guide member. If the guide pin is worn, the original belt guide accuracy and function should be lost and must be replaced. Check the spring condition (discharge spring and top spring, etc.) to see if it is broken, or if it has not been broken for a long time, but it has lost its original strength after fatigue, it must be regularly maintained and replaced, otherwise it will cause damage to the mold. Or production is not smooth.


4, the adjustment of the mold gap


The core positioning hole is worn due to the frequent and multiple combination of the core, resulting in a large gap after assembly (looseness after assembly) or uneven gap (producing positioning deviation), which will cause the shape of the section after punching to deteriorate. The punch is easy to break, and burrs are generated. The condition of the cross-section after punching can be checked to make appropriate gap adjustment. When the gap is small, the section is small. When the gap is large, the section is large and the burrs are large. The reasonable gap is obtained by displacement. After adjustment, it should be properly recorded, or mark on the side of the die. Subsequent maintenance work. Daily production should pay attention to the collection of the material when the original mold is better. If the subsequent production is not smooth or the mold is mutated, it can be used as a reference for mold maintenance. In addition, if the auxiliary system, such as the top pin, is worn, whether it can be topped, whether the guide pin and the bushing are worn, it should be inspected and maintained.
